Really, I don't understand why he is acting like that: '' I’ll have to catch Adamek and knock him out and show the world that I’m ready to take the next step. Hopefully one of the Klitschko brothers will give me the opportunity of a lifetime to fight for the world heavyweight title. That’s my dream since I was a kid. Since I even heard about boxing I wanted to be the first born Irish heavyweight champion of the world. '' http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=26697&more=1 It is a great dream no doubt. And it is just fine that he thinks like that way but...... those words just sounds so stupid cause he don't look like a fighter who trains to be a world champion!! He is fat and doesn't even look like a fighter.. Kevin, If you wanna be champ you must do things like a guy who wants to be champ!! Yeah, you got the words and mouth but you also have that belly.. But I wish good luck to him and I really hope that he is in shape when the fight comes.. I think he doesnt stand a chance but I hope he makes his best in his preparations to be as good as possible in fight night! :good
If McBride has to "catch" Adamek then the biggie colossus is doomed! McBride makes Lou Savarse look like Sugar Ray Leonard.
Get out 'cha keg blasters...McBride sippin' that juice before round 1. Vodka in his water after round 1...it's gonna be WAR IRISHMAN
100% hype. :verysad Sadly, there's no chances of this fight being boycotted by the Poles. Hordes of them will watch and cheer as McBride becomes Adamek's quickest stoppage yet at HW (probably out-tanking Golota and Maddalone by three or maybe four rounds). I'd urge Americans to send a message and stop flocking to New Jersey or shelling out PPV money until Adamek gets back on track and matching up with tough enough opposition to challenge himself and do right by himself and his talent.
Relax. He's about to fight one of the two best fighters in this division. Adamek has Wlad/Vitali set up after this, hence he's taking a safe opponent. This is normal and has been done endless times before. Imagine if he takes a top 10 opponent like you want him to and loses or gets injured before his biggest pay day. It makes no sense, especially for Main Events. Before the deal with the K-bros came along, Adamek was looking to fight Peter, a pretty worthy challenger. Of course the Poles will support this - they understand its a necessary fight to keep Adamek warm. I would also argue that, as bad as McBride is, he does have punching power and still retains a puncher's chance here. Why do you care who Adamek uses to keep himself warm before Klitschkos?
If a fight with a Klitschko happens, I'm happy as a clam (and back to respecting the **** out of Adamek's ballsy willingness to take on the best even to his own possible detriment). The thing is...well, given how things have been unfolding lately and especially at heavyweight (and especially with K2)...I'll start to believe Adamek is fighting a Klitschko when there's a date and venue set. Maybe a press conference. Maybe not until the weigh-in. :yep Right now he's got an IOU, in a sport where even ink on paper isn't final.
It's a good move for Adamek, fighting a big hulk like McBride. A good tune-up for his title shot. Should be an easy night, though won't be surprised if it lasts a few rounds.
The contracts are signed. There would be no way to back out for either party without legal restitution. If Adamek and at least one of the K-bros wins their upcoming fight, the only thing that can derail the fight is an injury. Im not sure about the exact date and venue. I'm sure they are just mulling over which stadium in Poland would be the optimal place. From what I've heard, its between Warsaw and Wroclaw, where two new stadiums will be finished by September. They have time to do this so they are taking their time. Doesn't mean that anyone can back out of a signed contract.
No ****, Sherlock. At the tail end of McBride's long shitty career, did you finally figure this all out by yourself? Kudos.
rewatched the tyson fight recently...he didnt do too bad in that fight actually..landed some good blows..took some good ones...but tyson was soo shot seen the monaco, mollo, and williamson fights...he looked terrible in all of those so he probably never was any good
