    I cant believe some boxing fans still use the "he couldnt beat that guy...why would he be able to beat that other guy?" logic.

    reminds me of holyfield last weekend - pretty much the same fight.

    mccal being backed up with ease. mccall grabbing and hitting to no avail.

    this is he kind of fight i would love a kd to liven things up a bit.

    gomez has a lot of pace, and landing the better shots.

    mccall going for the one punch ko, as he has been since r1 - can't see it happening as too slow.

    gomez caught by a fw good punches at the end by mccall.

    round 6 to gomez

    I hate Wlad and I always thought that Wlad would knock him out at this point. McCall was never anything special and he has done nothing to prove he can hang in with top 10 HW's anymore. His best win was against Sinan Samil Sam, who's horrible and out of shape.

    Yeah anybody could land a big bomb on Wlad and knock him out, its not that easy to do though

    I think Wlad would beat Mccall, but a guy with Mccalls chin and punch always a decent chance in there.

    That's not at all what I'm saying. I'm saying people argue with "certainty" that McCall KTFOs Wlad. The weak chin hypothesis is old and lame. Wlad would murder McCall with greater "certainty" than the opposite.

    gomez is actually landing on mccall like he wants to stop him - that's crazy tactics IMO

    it's all gomez, and he looks in excellent condition with good pace.

    mccall got a bit leathered in that round

    Mccall is right on level Sinan Samil Sam. Wlad would murder him.

    I dont care about Mccalls bum parade of KO's then close decision over SSS. You most be the smae people that thought Holyfield was going to beat Sultan , because he beat Bates, Maddalone and Savarese.

    I hope he doesn't get disqualified.. I have Gomez by UD in the prediction thread. :twisted:

    I wouldn't really compare McCall to Holyfield. At least Evander fought with spirit against Ibragimov and he was more aggressive.

    I never thought HOLY would win, Wlad has a weak chin thats all Im saying. When he gets hit with power punches he goes into panic attack mode, but its hard to hit Wlad when hes throwing heavy jabs.
