As soon as he realized he had a completely different fighter in front of him, who wouldn't let him get his punches off, but still punish him, he got flashbacks from the Bruno fight. He didn't want to go 12 rounds again against a hard hitter in not being able to do much himself again, and flipped. p.s. i think that was Lewis' peak fight.
Let's put it this way - if McCall was charging in landing blows to Lewis, does anyone really think he still breaks down and bursts into tears? McCall's mentality was very thin going into that fight. It didn't take Lewis much to break it, but he still had to do break it.
ok so that explains it...at the start he was fighting then at a certain point, he just stopped punching, i mean stopped fighting...just trying to evade getting clocked...weird!?
