No, my man. I certainly didn't take it that way at all. My relatives down south say eating a lot of cornbread makes you big, so that's where I got that phrase from. I've never heard a racist or offensive comment from you, brother. :good
You're probably right. I was just giving Whittaker credit for being professional enough to show up in shape and give himself a chance. You ever wonder how good the Atomic Bull could have been if he wasn't an addict all those years?
I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do. He's probably a guy like Ronald Hearns: Dad was a top level boxer, but the son never was into the sport until late and is learning as a pro. Hopefully, he'll turn out to be better than Ronald has.
It looks like he has potential. The heavyweight division is ready for the taking. He obviously has a couple more years of work ahead of him. You gotta love a heavyweight that goes to the body like he did against Davis.
Will be interesting to see the results of these. Could Oliver MCcall have another chance to become a gunuine contender. His son seems to be shaping up nicely. This is one big weekend of boxing!
"Mountain" Whitaker was 239 for Estrada..... Whitaker was rock solid, but boxed like a rookie with no clue............... Ollie McCall should paste and hammer Whitaker pretty easy........ Whitaker is not a true fighter; McCall is............ BUT! Age could be a factor..... McCall is age 44 and Whitaker is about 36 / 37.......... MR.BILL
McCall's son looks to be tailoring his game from early Tyson tapes. I can clearly see Tyson-esque attacks. Still crude, but the kid looks to have great potential. From what I"ve seen in these clips, I am impressed with McCall's son. :good
