Body snatcher was more aggressive against Toney than GGG was against Canelo. GGG never took risks and never put himself in the firing line like McCallum did. Thats why officially he failed to get the W over 3 fights. Some guys just refuse to lose. GGG didn't have that will to win no matter what. McCallum had it. Andre Ward had it.

Golovkin clobbered Canelo twice and everybody knows it.

Toney-McCallum was fought at a higher technical level. I had Toney ahead in the first fight but a draw was justifiable. The second fight was scored widely for Toney but I had it even and thought McCallum deserved something from it.

I have watched the McCallum vs Toney series a lot of the years. I had the first fight a draw, the second fight a win for McCallum and the third was Toney.

Regarding GGG vs Canelo, I had GGG wining the first two and losing the third.

At the end of the day, McCallum and Toney were incredibly close fights that could have gone either way except for the tird one which was a clear Toney win. I will always view GGG as superior to Canelo with the exception of the third fight.

    My take is
McCallum didn't deserve any decisions against Toney. G deserved the first 2 against Canelo. First fight was a no brainer.

I thought Toney won the first one. I guess it’s similar to the first Canelo-GGG fight where you can see a draw, but it’s being pretty generous to Canelo/McCallum. I had it 116-113 for GGG.

The rematches could have gone either way IMO. I had McCallum ahead 114-113 and the Canelo-GGG rematch 114-114.

No controversies in the dull 3rd matches.
