McCallum vs. Valdez

I've always felt Valdez was somewhat one-dimensional and vulnerable to boxers. I think McCallum might be able to hold him off and outbox him to a decision, but Valdez will likely keep coming and pressing in the face of everything McCallum throws at him.

 

MIke was best at Jr MW....Valdez a true MW.

I gotta go with Valdez. Hes a true MW,hard puncher with very good all around skills.Not saying McCallum isnt as skilled just my gut say's Valdez.

 

Valdez SD McCallum, Mike's skills makes it a very close fight.

 

Mike has the smarts and skills to pull out a hard fought decision win

 

I don't like that arm/hand positioning of McCallum against this guy. Valdez will have a picnic over that low right hand. And I sure don't like those lead right hands to the body that were wide Mike threw. He'll get beat to the punch consistently against someone with the tools Valdez had. Just too big of openings to give up to a guy like Rodrigo Valdez. Decision bout all the way.

 

Valdez, they are both close p4p, Valdez bigger and slightly better.
