Assuming McClellan would be able to make MW today without use of duretics or getting busted on them, I guess Golovkin makes it into the 2nd half of the fight... and you probably know what that means.
McClellan couldn't get past foot soldier like benn and ended up in a wheel chair. GGG puts him underground. Good ridance
GGG is a solid fighter, smooth come-forward hard-hitter. But McClellan was astoundingly good. I think G-Man, with his long-range, bombs the hittable GGG.
It all depends on GGG's chin , if it stands up he stops McClellen late. Gerald never won a fight when the other fighter could take his power.
3 G's is better than one. If Golovkin didn't have the beard he does, I'd give McClellan a much better chance. Heck of an entertaining fight, though. G-man was huge at the weight, but his style played into Golovkin's counterpunching. Because of the size advantage and McClellan coming right to him, I don't see GGG going for a knockout unless McClellan fades late, but I do see a lot of scoring opportunities. Golovkin is going to eat some shots, but I'm sold enough on his durability that I see him holding up to it if he boxes a disciplined fight. I'd feel fairly comfortable betting on Golovkin on points here.
Golovkin breaks him down and stops him in 8-10 rounds. Golovkin is the better pedigree boxer, mpre technically sound, strong physically and just as much power. McClellan like most American fighters is overrated.
On the face of it, yes, it is true, but, there were other circumstances that played into the situation. McClellan in all likelihood didn't enter the ring 100% and he was practically dying in front of our eyes during the fight. All things considered, the post you commented on was pretty daft.
