McCline Vs. Peter Round by Round

Purrity is a big puncher....I worded it wrong so let me apologize on that. But Purrity is TERRIBLE. He couldnt hold Mccline's spit bucket.

So let me explain this.....Mccline is better than people who have hurt (and beaten) Wlad.

I didnt say this to say Wlad was in some way shape or form overrated, or a bum or a fraud. I like Wlad and I think stylistically he is phenominal. He has all the tools in the world....but can be hurt. And him being hurt, or knocked down, or KNOCKED OUT, in no way shape or form constitutes him being a fraud or hypejob....just as Peter being knockdown in no way shape or form does as well............

AT LEAST UNTIL I SEE THE FIGHT!!!!

Now, as I said, there are people on this forum who feel Whitaker lost to Chavez (in reality...widely considered one of the biggest robberies in boxing history...AND IT WAS A DRAW!!!)

So as I said, their round by rounds would look different from what actually happened.

Now as for this fight. If Peter was dropped 3 times.....and still won in most peoples eyes...it was not a close fight. He had a bad (VERY BAAAAAD) round and recovered and won. Maybe the cards were a little slighted....maybe not....you CANT KNOW UNTIL YOU WATCH IT FOR YOURSELF!!!!

Fact is, Peter got knocked down (numerous times) and got up and won. Something, that in most cases shows heart. Yet I see alot of Klit fans (yourself included) not even seeing the fight, and ripping him.

Plus, it seems now its coming out that Peter fought with a broken hand COMING INTO THE FIGHT!!! If that dont show heart I dont know what does.






And BTW, I am not that big of a Peter fan (he has good power, but is TERRIBLY raw). I just look at things less biasly than others for the most part.

I already explained why I thought the decision was bull**** but let me add that the announcers were also extremely biased in their commentary, according to all accounts.

I never said McCline was robbed but the fact that Peter won by such a large margin is what smells bad here.

So you believe that Peter fought tonight with broken hands? Do you think he really slipped & wasn't knocked down also? Everyone is laughing about that one in a few threads...................

I will keep bringing up the Whitaker - Chavez fight. Have you seen it? If not, I will explain...Whitaker boxed his ears off and should have won a CLEAR WIDE UD! But the fight was scored a draw...and there are actually people on this very sight that scored it for Chavez.

So, again, their round by rounds would have been CLEARLY OPPOSITE of what really happened. And if they were posting it on here and you were just going by what was said, you would be wrong.

I might watch this fight and think he got floored, looked bad and barely eaked out a win. Tho I may watch it and give every round but the third to Peter. The point is, I am not going to go by what people typed in a post.

And again, most people say Peter CLEARLY won....so getting knocked down 3 times, getting up and still clearly winning constitutes a fraud? That is what I dont understand.

It may be a horribly judged fight....but there are two things you gotta understand.

1- You cant know that for sure without seeing it first.
2- It really doesnt matter much, as long as the CORRECT GUY got the W. Which by most accounts...he did.

Again, I am more a Klit fan than a Peter fan (tho I DO think Peter is a dangerous opponent for Wlad in a rematch)....but I am going to wait to see the fight before I crown him or rip him. It only makes sense.

And as for the KD and the broken hands. I DONT KNOW...I HAVENT SEEN THE FIGHT!

What really strikes me as ironic about this is how many times Zakman has declared that Brock has a glass chin for being decked once by McCline, all the while glorifying Peter and declaring his chin to be of the highest caliber- then Peter fights McCline and gets dropped not once, not twice, but three times and barely escapes without being stopped!

I've said this many times re Peter. I was guardedly high on him until the 2 Toney fights. I picked Peter to beat McCline (Maskaev too), but his performance tonite vs a fighter who has folded in every big fight raises more questions than it answers. :deal

And here's a good example, can I delete RUSKULL's worthless junk?, can I delete him with his worthless trash as well?, the answer is yes. Did I delete him or his posts?, the answer is NO. The rabbit punch...he has mastered it to perfection...from a technical standpoint this is the shot he throws the best...

 

I guess you same ****s missed the double and triple jabs he thrown and could not miss with and the body jabs as well..... and yeah the jab is his best and most effective punch by far..not no damned rabbit punch when somebody is hugging the **** out of him and they return rabbit punch fire..its a fight...he is saying get the **** off of me or I will hit you in the back of the head when you keep holding... its old school....Now if he was pushing him down and cranking shots behind the head and not on the ear or a little behind the ear you have a ****ing point.

 

Yeah your right about the Rabbit punch, Peter has is down to a science, although it seems that he has added a few others sneaky punches to his repitoure. I can't help but think that he trained with Andrew Golata, or at least watched many of his title fights in training. Either way the next victim bested be warned, a couple of welled placed fouls could take the wind out of any fighters sails. atsch
