Damn good question. Can't believe this actually was an eliminator...after the godawful showing from McCline against Ruiz, and Mollo getting ten bells beat out of him by Golota, either of these guys as a credible #1 contender is just a joke. That it sounds like it was a poor quality fight is just the icing on the cake.
What ranking does the winner of this fight of the recycled bums get anyway? Mollo was just beaten by Golota, McCline was just beaten by Ruiz and he lost to Zuri Lawrence in 2005. Of course this fight should be an eliminator - for the #1 contender position for the WBF intercontinental belt.
I saw the fight it was a hugfest, clinch after clinch. Mollo got tired like usual and his punches had no snap on them and Mccline got tired as usual after 4 rounds and his punches had some snap on them but they were very few of them. Terrible terrible fight. Now I'm watching Barrera and am relieved to see some quality boxing after that crap from Mccline and Mollo. Mollo is a clubfighter, dangerous in first 3 rounds and thats it.
Nah,he is too big,and he is a limited figter. He won't get far losing to Williamsin,Golota and McCline. He will be a young gatekeeper but King can always get him a title shot maybe
Barrera is dominating of course no need. Its round 4, Barrera is toying, double triple jabs, hooks, to the body, the other guy just went down raises hands, BArrera another gook down again bell rings
