    I'm not crying - I'm very pleased that Jeff Lacy Americas hyped up new super man - who nearly every boxing Pundit in the USA was picking to KO Calzaghe came over to Britain and got a ****ing humilating pasting

    And Lacy was the best America at to offer at the weight

    Calzaghe was a different league son:good

    Hatton is not overhyped by me

    Hatton is crap

    he is not even the best light welterweight in the North of England in alot of peoples eyes - including my own

    Hatton is a con job bear hugging limited fighter

    he fought Mayweather at Welterweight and got KO'd - big deal

    Mayweather was obviously gonna win that fight

    Its a different scernio when Jeff Lacy enters British shores as some kind of God expected to balst out a estalblished British Champion

    Hatton is crap

    At least McClennan and Lacy had the bottle to come over and fight away from home, unlike Hopkins,Taylor, and Mayweather who all flatly refused to fight in the UK

    No disrespect to Lacy, but I personally think McCllelan was a level above him. I mean, Gerald defeated Julian Jackson, twice. Jackson was a better fighter than Lacy has ever been or ever will be.

    McCllelan would have TKO'd Lacy.

    Maybe McClellan would've finished him in a round as he said if not for the ****ing ridiculous refereeing and the way that fight was handled. McClellan was having troubles prior to that fight in terms of brain damage and whatnot, I am now convinced of it. Too many flush shots taken in the first Jackson fight and continued in this one(along with countless rabbit punches the ****** French ref allowed, as long as it was Benn throwing them), which he likely shouldn't have even been cleared for.

    Manny Steward said he noticed slowdowns in McClellan's speech pattern and in his reflexes two-three fights earlier. McClellan had complained of massive headaches befoe the Benn fight.

    In hindsight, It's insane that all these people saw the signs and neglected them.

    If you watch the first Jackson fight you can see signs of it actually. He has his head down and is clearly wincing at times in between rounds in his corner.

    You would've figured after he said on live TV, "I keep getting these headaches man" that someone in boxing would've ordered some sort of testing for the G-Man. It's insane he was able to go so long without someone saying/doing something. Pitting him against a heavy hitter like Benn didn't do him any favors either.

    Gerald McClellan had his issues and some of the things he did were pretty deplorable...but he deserved a better end than this.
