Yeah one bad night makes a fighter ,Khan struggled with limmond, gomez and prescott yet look at him now , .Tell me why you think Maidaina would beat McC bar his power !! McC Has never been stopped yet khan was and down numerous times but could take maidainas best , his power is overated imo as i said if it was so good he would have sparked Khan who has a very dodgy beard at the best of times

I think he beat Kotelnik, add to that he beat Ortiz also. His power may be a bit overrated but he hits hard enough to spark McCloskey, who I'd give almost no chance of beating Maidana as he doesn't have the speed nor(arguably) the power nor the accuracy nor the defence to keep Maidana off him.

yeh but he is better than Paul McCloskey ffs.

Maidana has only lost two fights, both were close to world champions and guys still in the top 5 at there weight. He stopped Ortiz a top 10 fighter.

McCloskey strugled agaisnt Guiseppe Lauri and went 7 rounds with Barry Morrison

to question someone for saying Maidana is better is beyond stupid or your jsut being bias.

i wanna see the fight. its be great to have an all british clash but McCloskey should not be making demands.

You'll notice I quoted you on the next page.

We can all have a bit of an idea but you sometimes go way over the top about t.v. revenues.

Lay of the name calling with Billy etc coz it's just making the forum a bit silly.

No it is ridiculous that you can come up with the conclusion Maidana is made for a guy who has fought no one in the same stratosphere as Maidana.

Don't mean like a poster on my ****ing wall ya fecking fudge packer lol:tong

Khans just doing negotiation tactics to make the most money. Would be no different if it was you or I (except McClosky would make less off me).

To be honest it is ridiculous, McCloskey has never even faced a fringe world class operator and is only being considered as an opponent for this tune up fight because he's undefeated (due to having faced nobody of note) and there's an Anglo-Irish theme that could sell the fight. Maidana has faced a host of top class fighters and has never been beaten comprehensively. If they fought I'd put as much cash as i could on Maidana KO'ing McCloskey in the first 6. Khan will absolutely muller him if they fight as well. He's just not a world class fighter.
