Very true, I don't like when people say "oh he's not shot, he's always just been ****" no, he hasn't

he put an absolute pasting on lynes at about ten days notice for the british title, making him verbally quit, showed some great skill while doing so. he was never world class, but jesus he was never as bad as he was against corley

I agree, commentary for that fight was a disgrace

he never helped himself with some of the **** thats come out of his mouth though

Agree with both of these. Paul's been getting **** on for a while people saying he was never that good and that he couldn't make the step up. The beating he give Lynes was a very good performance he completely took him apart. He also gave Watson the most clear loss I've seen him in. Paul is getting caught with shots he wouldn't of even been close to taking back then. He most likely wouldn't of got a title but he sure as **** would of put up a much much much better showing than he did. With Paul's style it really is one of those that can disappear overnight especially when you get to that age.

  4. I dont think Mcloskey was that bad againts Bredis Prescott considering that was never a knockdown in round one

For the first six or seven rounds Prescott was in control, It was only when Prescott gassed that Mccloskey went on the attack.

:rofl One off bad performance, He hasn't performed in ages and that was against average European fighters like Rasilla. I mean do world class guys take 7 rounds to stop Barry Morrison?..

Yes, his trainers have a lot to do with it as well though. Love of the games one thing but John Breen and co haven't a clue.

    word!

I am not going to defend Paul's recent performance. Many of which have been pretty poor and tough to watch. But he gets slated for the Prescott decision but the same people rarely mention that the knockdown in round one which was spurious and robbed him of 3 points as he was just about winning that round and also I think it broke his nose.

I any event, he broke his nose early, had a really tough first six rounds and turned the fight around. Kudos for that alone.
