delusional little guy, he got outboxed beyond belief against Khan and was given the beating of his life against Corley.

OK I admit McCloskey has looked utterly ****ing abysmal in the last few years, but I don't think you should judge your whole opinion of him on his recent form, remember he was "hyped" because at one point he actually looked good, when there was talk of him fighting Olusegun a few years ago, McCloskey was favourite. It had less to do with him "finding his level" than him just getting old for his style.

McCloskey has shared common opponents with many of the top light welters in the world for a guy who has had only around 20 odd fights all together, and never looked out of his depth at all, but hes 30 odd years old ni, he turned pro 6 years ago. he should retire, but he was actually a pretty good fighter.

anyone can look good against the kind of people he was fighting, he was a good domestic/euro fighter when he was at his best but it was obvious from years ago as soon as he stepped up a level he would be exposed.

If he wants another go he better sought out his defence out

hence the term "common opponents", for example

    http://www.boxing-core.com/videos/_Paul_McCloskey_vs_Dean_Harrison?vid=10001350

There was nothing in this fight that didn't suggest he couldnt hang with Alvarado at the time, considerin Alvarados performance against Harrison a while later

Maybe he wasn't all that, but he was not bad when he performed. That wasn't the same McCloskey that fought Corley, be honest with yourself.

    What!?!

He threw about 1 punch in the entire Khan fight and Corley knocked the **** out of him - I still can't see any way you can come up with #cheatednotdefeatedtwice. :patsch

Corley ****ing brained him... those involuntary spasms he had in his arms just before the stoppage are frightening. That stoppage was legit, infact it should have come earlier.

There was still 6 rounds to go in the Khan fight buddy, and he was ahead on ALL 3 judges scorecards against Corley #dudeyarmy

6 rounds where he wasn't going to do anything other than survive, he might have opened up late on and let his hands go more but Khan would have just knocked him out had he done that as Khan didn't use up any energy in those first 6 rounds.

And yeah he was "officially" ahead, but he wasn't any way winning that fight, Corley was doing whatever he f-ckin wanted with McCloskey, Corley was just on his way to getting robbed (just like Prescott)
