I cant see it,I think Maidana will unlike Prescott keep hitting Paul when he is stunned.I think its a step up and although I tip my hat to Paul if he takes on another big hitter straight away this time he will be in trouble.
Hey, Paul is no Ricky B. I very much doubt Paul ducks anyone at 140 he's a very good bloke and he genuinly is after Bradley, Maidana or Khan (thinks he'll win too)
Might not be a stretch to say he makes Maidana miss more than the rangy Prescott, early on anyway, avoiding the terrible start he had last night, but Maidana comes forward more and wont tail-off like the colombian 6 rounder. Maidana KO mid rounds.
Maidana would work the body early. He's a very good body puncher when he puts his mind to it. The body doesn't move like the head does. After 6 rounds McCloskey is as tired as Prescott was. Maidana KO9 Dudey. Actually clean KO too.
Dudey should avoid Maidana. It's just all wrong for him. He needs to good strength & conditioner as well as a tune-up fight. Not sure who his trainer is but I'd probably look to get another one too. Dudey is simply not world class right now & I fear he's going to get hurt chasing $$$ when he could retire on a high & enjoy life.
James Toney didnt seem to mind when he was beating guys who looked much more the part. Juan Diaz didnt either when he was in FOTY against dinamita.
