Khan barely beat Maidana. Maidana's a handful. McCloskey isn't hard to hit. It ends badly for the Irishman.

Maidana is genuine world level. Khan barely survived him. Mcloskey wont be good enough.

If Prescott and Maidana fought I think Maidana would win it, he just has more than Prescott in several departments for me.

McCloskey went life and death with Prescott and barely got through - with a better engine, Prescott would have won even on those judges' cards.

Maidana nearly stopped Khan, McCloskey was losing to Khan up to the cut and not looking like going on to stop him.

I'd like McCloskey to have an emotional home win with a dramatic late rally and beat Maidana... but I think that he is too easy to hit, does not hit hard enough to keep aggressive, tough opponents off him, and will be worn down and stopped by Maidana.

Prescott's power seems to fall off throught a fight, he looked most dangerous in the first few rounds. Against Khan, Maidana was down in the first and looked surprised by the speed - then nearly stopped Khan in the tenth. Many Brit referees would have called that fight off in the tenth, giving Maidana a TKO win over Khan. So I see a late Maidana stoppage, and not too much to cheer for the McCloskey fans en route to it at that.

For me, McCloskey doesn't do anything that worries the Maidana who fought Khan.

 

Maidana > Prescott, in every way.

There should be no uncertainty.
