Its a good 50-50 fight. The winner can go an and get at least an eliminator at 140lbs, the loser is pretty much done. Suprised they would tie this up with a PF as both would sell well on there own in Belfast.
mcloskey by ko kats comes in straight forward leaning over and will get taged by that lead right uppercut right underneath his jab.
not sure that mccloskey's style would mesh that well with katsidis. could be a good crossroads fight though.
Im not sure about this. i read an article with kats that said he turned down morales in april or something because he felt he was being turned into a stepping stone, and how he was content to work his way gradually into a title shot for him then to come to Belfast to fight McCloskey?
I'd favour Katsitas (sic) in this one, I don't think McCloskey has the ability to keep him off for 12 rounds and take a points win, and he certainly doesn't have the ability to go to war with Kats.
when i started a thread about paulies next opponent and recomended malinagi salita or katsidis i got laughed off this forum.
I thought the McCloskey V Prescott was already a WBA 140 lb eliminator? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/14840182.stm Katsidis could be a risky fight for McCloskey, but hopefully well worth watching
Good fight, Michael seems happy with Jeff training him. I be honest haven't seen the Prescott fight. Was really looking forward to it yet got called out to some drama's down road and ended up missing what sounded like a good fight.
