"Khan comes in and throws ten punches and moves, but if Paul McCloskey doesn’t want to get hit no one can land a glove on him."

 Sorry, but that me laugh. McCloskey get's hit a fair bit, especially in the Lauri fight.

    Good article, though.

:lol: agreed. I saw a highlight video the other day it was full of him getting clipped by shots as he tried to roll back.

In fairness to Breen he always gives out about the Lauri fight. Paul boxed for one or two rounds in that fight and was a class above, but he fought the rest of the fight. Breen was upset with him for getting involved in a brawl. Lauri had said something to McCloskey in the weigh in that upset him and Paul admitted after the Italians goading worked and he threw out the game plan just to brawl!

Paul McC's best hope is to punch with Khan when he's flurrying and hope to surprise him with something. Easier said then done of course.

I remember Graham Earls American trainer from Florida Gus Curran said they were going to target Khans temple, We all know what happened to Graham Earl what most people dont know is what happened to his trainer:

He trains regular People off the streets ! Women & Men "

He trains "housewifes, professionals and future world champions!" Lets hope that dont happen to Breen

To be fair to Breen he said this 3yrs ago about McCloskey beating Khan and there are a lot of people on here too quick to dismiss his chances. Make no mistake, McCloskey is a 'live' one here and if Khan doesnt take him seriously (which i hope) then hes digging his own grave. McCloskey is a hard nights work, though his head hanging is a KO waiting to happen

If anyone wants to know what going to happen in this fight watch the Colin Lynes fight for the first three rounds where he landed the occasional awkward looking counter but was largely sharp shot all over the place. I like McClosky i'm fairly neutral about who I want to win but he has zero chance- stylistically Khan is all wrong for him.

Many of the people giving him a chance have looked at the cherry picked highlight reel that made him look like Sweet Pea. Watch his fights in their entirety and he's nothing more than a Euro level fighter. Lauri dragged him into a war ffs, Nigel Wright was a close fight where he took loads of punishment. These guys are several levels off the Khan's and Bradley's of the division. McCloskey doesn't have a prayer.

Having said that, it's not out of the ordinary for a coach to talk up his boxer is it? Roach talks an equal amount of bull**** about Khan.
