Mccrory- "gavin lacks discipline" also fears he won't make it as pro

some people including myself made critical comments about Gavin. People got in a huff about it and gave there thoughts on why it wasn't. Gavin came on and argued his case which included the classic "what have you ever done in boxing blah blah blah......" line. 1 poster took it to far and Frankie reacted. in all honesty he should have just ignored it.

if Gavin has never come on today this would have been a good thread about Gavin's progress, fitness levels and fighters fitness levels in general.

thats my point about maybe this forum would be better without pro's coming on. it wasn't frankies fault but him coming on rewind a good thread as your always going to get an arse hole. its the internet.

honestly if i was a pro boxing like bellew that just wanted to talk boxing i would just have an alias.

 

How can you say his opinion is wrong? that is his opinion. In your opinion it is wrong. Unless you have statistics that prove that his punch out put, punch power does not diminish over the course of a fight then you can only have an opinion as well.

What a have the fans (the proper fans (not just the arseholes who turn up to get pissed and fight in the crowd) missing a great opportunity to interact with the lads they shell out to see.

 

You can make a critical view about Frankie Gavin, if thats what your heart desires you to do. However, in my view, a coiuple of views by Glenn McCrory do not warrent a thread in its own right, it just is not that interesting.

It works if you conduct yourself like Tony Bellew, Dave Coldwell, Joe Gallagher etc. In general these 3 either ignore negative comments or come back with some witty banter.

Billy Nelson and Frankie Gavin today a perfect example of it not working. when faced with negative comments they will retaliate with insults or come out with the old "what have you ever done in boxing" line.

some of his comments about Stephen Smith who posts on here are as disrespectful as comments towards gavin and bellew in this thread.

 

Gavin never came out with that line. He called you a ***** and after some of your comments about him he's well entitled to. You think that people should post normally when a fighter is on here... why should a fighter not be able to post just like he's a normal member on here?

 

Sometimes though Rob you lose all semblence of common sence.

Today you were implying that Frankie missed weight because he had a few pints.

Then he told you everybody else on the team was on the beer too.

Then you said it was fine because they made weight.

So if they made weight clearly your first point in nonsense?

If you're just gonna spout stuff like that I reckon you deserve all the contempt you get.
