You got owned on the computer games thing. Sometimes you just have to say 'yeah, you got me, i'll try better next time'. :yep Incidentally dismissing computer games is a bit like dismissing films or music, it's just a close minded point of view brought about by an old fashioned sterotype.

 

No, just a pedantic **** with a hangover and a doss job in the council (internet all day it rocks!) Incidentally, I did teach but it was Music not English. Then I realised that I hated the music that kids produce and couldn't be bothered to plan lessons/sort out the mess that some parents had made of their children. Left the profession less than 3 months after qualifying. Don't miss it one bit:yep I've come to the conclusion that almost all jobs are **** (although I did like working as a postie for a summer) and it's better to have a relaxing one rather than one where it requires you to have a 'passion' for what you do. How he looks is not really relevant unless he was looking genuinely soft and flabby. When did Calzaghe ever looked ripped or even highly toned?

Some people cut up and some don't. He has been pretty inactive as a pro given how young he is and how early in his career it is. But he has boxed well whenever I've seen him and has adapted to the pro game far better than I thought he would.

I see more positives than negatives and certainly wont be judging him on how much muscle or definition he has.

 

Calzaghe always looks in pretty good condition to me. he never had love handles.

I don't see the issue. He is not someone who natually cuts up and his gym work will be on stamina and technique. Stamina training is detrimental to achieving muscle hypertrophy anyway, which is why you often find heavily muscled guys like Haye and Bruno back in the day have **** stamina.

If Gavin was coming in like Fury has done in several fights I would agree with you.
