Mccrory- "gavin lacks discipline" also fears he won't make it as pro

I dont care if somebody is a fighter or not either, but you can hardly critisise people people here, you talk the biggest load of shite of possibly anybody on the Brit forum. You'll find a lot of the uproar in this thread is because some idiot brought up Gavin's personal life, so you should be in agreement with most people on here, instead of chastising everybody.

 

McCorys got back bone though - he stood toe to toe with Lennox Lewis - and had a go - even though he was overpowered.

He also was attempted to be bullied by little midget Naseem Hamed in Atlantic City - when Naz was lashing out at eveyone - but McCory had none of it - and stood up to Naz.

He was the only member of the main Sky Panel to pick Barrera to beat Naz.

He also said - that some strong character - should be called in to stop Naz delaying the fight in the dressing room before he came out against Barrera.

He also rubbed it in the last round by exclaiming loudly...........

"He's doing a number on Hamed now"

McCorys got the backbone to stand up for himself - and as a former World Cruierweight Champion - he's hardly going to be intimated by little midgets in comparison to him.

I remember your posts when Gavin went Pro, speaking about how he would accomplish nothing as he had posted on his facebook about going out for a drink etc. atsch

 

Any kind of criticism is met with stern hostility by a Farnell or Gavin, even if its warranted. I suppose nobody likes being criticised. Farnell should be teaching Gavin how to deal with the critics. I feel that he is too much of a mate to the boxers. Bomber was not getting anything out of Farnell and his attitude was terrible. "Nobody can take a punch off me" "I never thought I would have to go 12 rounds". This is where a trainer should remind his fighter that people went 12 rounds with Mike Tyson in his prime.

I know a couple of people before me had an avatar of him, I stuck mine up when I finally got around to watching his documentary, in paid tribute.

It'll probably switch to another comedian when I get around to it.
