I posted earlier and I stated mid to late stoppage. I did not mention anything about power which Patrick seems to be holding onto. Pressure and accumulatioin of punches would do the job and all of the major elite fighters that beat MCullough would actually stop Mr Dunne.

Wel since Dunne has only been beaten by guys with power and McCullough does not fall into this category, the point I made about power is a valid one.

No one is disputing that the elite fighters that McCullough went the distance with would stop Dunne. Harrison, Morales, Hamed, they all have power, McCullough does not. I don't see what point you are trying to make here.

Lesser fighters than Dunne have went the distance with McCullough, for example Julio Cesar Cardona, who was stopped 10 times before McCullough got to him managed to go the distance. Juan Polo Perez, who was stopped 3 times previously (one time by 1st round ko), took McCullough to a split decision. So I don't buy this accumulation of puches theory when these less than sturdy guys (who did not have as much skill as Dunne), managed to go the distance with him. So it is not an unlikely outcome for Dunne to win a decision over McCullough is it? :huh

I'd take your opinion with a grain of salt Don1 since you are a Rendall Munroe fan, what else are you going to say

Anyone who thinks Wayne McCullough would walk through Dunne clearly knows little about either fighter.

I think the opposite i think you underrate McCullough he was already fading(but still tough)when he lost to Naz and Morales, and already washed up when he lost to Harrison and Larios. McCullough was at his best when he beat former champs Bueno,Rabanales,Benichou and stopping future champ Bredahl, Yakushiji who he beat for the title was a pretty good fighter,in fact at least 4out of the 5 guys i just mentioned would beat Dunne. You are right McCullough was not a big puncher but he was Physically strong and would have eventually stopped Dunne. Dunne might be a good puncher but McCullough would walk right thru his shots,if Morales or Naz couldnt drop him no way can Dunne. Ill go with McCullough by Tko in the 10th, It would be a good scrap but Mccullough would be too much with Mccullough ahead 87-83 at the time of stoppage

Bredahl was better than Dunne and McCullough stopped him.
