Back to the topic in question, this is typical Hearn...in his mind why make a decent money offer to fight the actual WBA champion when he can pay peanuts to get McDonnell the paper version against a nobody and claim hes World Champion...it's Scott Quigg all over again with his cartoon belt.

I'd rather he'd fought Haskins in some type of eliminator with the winner facing Ward or Butler.

 

There is a pattern with you posting absolute shite, yet despite the number of times its proven you continue, least Hearn makes money (for him and his fighters) out of his.

 

That's fine for Hearn to do this interms of pure business sense but he shouldn't try to fool the public with rubbish like Quigg & assuming he wins McDonnell are actual World Champions atsch

I know he is a promoter and that's his job to a certain extent but he's contributing to making a mockery of the sport. And as for the money he's paying Jaime i'm pretty confident when I say that both Hall and maybe even the Challenger Butler will be paid more for there upcoming fight.

 

Hearn isnt going to openly discredit the belt they hold, doesnt look good on him with the WBA. Whether we agree or not its buisness/politics.

As for the upcoming fight who knows? If McDonnell wins he might get higher purses for retaining this 'title' in the future and could use it as sight bargaining in a Hall 'unification'

 

One of the big problems with this paper title is that a good fighter who legitimately won the IBF version will now be one the but of many jokes.

Hearn should stop shopping for title shots at Toys R Us that's for sure.
