Jeffries turned down fights with Macintosh and Patrick Mendy to take on paul morby.

 

Does anyone understand why Grant already has a fight in Malta sheduled 6 weeks after the Johannson fight this weekend? Its not like he's a journeyman.

TBH, I think he's just happy to get the fights in. He isn't really backed by any promoters here, and that coupled with him being a talented fighter means that he is labelled as a danger man and one to avoid. Maybe that is changing, as I was surprised to see him face Place recently. Plus, he is getting plenty of fights this year after more than a 12 months out of the ring.

 

That's probably a wise move, he'd have his hands full with both..... unless he's improved out of sight during his break between fights.

 

Really hope Jeffries can get clear of injury and stay active this season
