The Public has been calling for this............ Nah in all seriousness it's not a bad fight and nice to see McDonnell accept challenge. Don't rate either that much but it be good fight.
still don't like McDonnell...IMO he never won that fight with Napa. I know people say Napa was lucky to beat Davies...but two wrongs don't make a right. The lads done well and his win over Jamoye was good but can't take to lad and he did seem to want to avoid Hall. Nice to see he's gone for it.....although some will say it's a backward step. Hall can dig a bit though....might stick a few quid on him to make it interesting.
Hall wins a on points for me, McDonell will eat his jab all night and struggle with Halls height advantage. Interesting that it is happening in Doncaster when Maloney said it would make more money if the fight was held up north.
Hall did make me laugh with that 'The public have been calling for this'. Only probably about 50 of them and they're all on here Quality trade match though.
The Sky contracts are up June next year. So they have one more month to impress. Sky would be mugs to keep all 4 deals. Maloney needs to start bringing his a game and this is it.
I think it's a good fight. Proper domestic dustup. It's realistically the only way either of them are going to get any publicity short of taking a very risky assignment in Mexico or Asia. I can see Hall punching his way to a decision or perhaps late stoppage, but it'll be good to watch no doubt.
Really happy this is happening, exactly the right fight for both of them. The winner should be able to move on whilst the loser can still come again
