Tonight Gavin McDonnell looks to emulate his brother Jamie and become an unlikely Wold Champion when he challenges Rey Vargas. I'll be honest, I know pretty much nothing about Vargas but the bookies favour him, who wins and how?

Just so long as the opponent isn't robbed like salinas was against his brother.
Eddie and the mcdonnells were quite happy to dodge a Salinas rematch too, until it had to be ordered! Shameful.

If it goes to the score cards then Vargas will probably lose a decision. If Salinas can get shafted with a clear cut victory, then i see no difference with Vargas. Don't get me wrong i want the Brits to win, but on their boxing skills and not some suspect score cards.

    Vargas KO, middle rounds.

If somehow it goes the distance then McDonnell by robbery/dodgy decision.

How bad is it that most people think if it goes to the scorecards McDonnell wins via a dodgy decision?

    Terrible really :risas3:

Whatever about getting the gift in the first place....Jamie should have manned up and offered a rematch. His trainer Coldwell ? and promoter Eddie and himself came out of it looking very bad IMO. They stink.

Gavin has his brothers chin and engine, but unfortunately for him, he doesn't have Jamie's skills. I'm backing Vargas to win via decision at 3/1.

Think you mean Solis bro but I agree Hearn actuallysaidMcdonnell won, they robbed that man of his hard fought win.
