This kind of opponent is not going to raise his profile to British fight fans. I'd like to have seen him in with a top 10 rated fighter in the British rankings like Liam Cameron or Nick Blackwell.

But surely if he was fighting a better class of opponent they would sell more tickets and probably at a higher price. I'm sure the 2 boys i mentioned earlier wouldn't want the earth to get the chance to raise their profile by beating Craig.

What good will this fight do for Craig McEwan? not a lot imo

Just happy to see him back. He's had two consecutive stoppage losses. I'm guessing an easy opponent might help him regain some confidence. He should target Martin Murray afterwards.

well that could happen but there is never any gurentee of the people buying extra tickets etc .Its as much as a buisness mate as it isi a sport, which i dont like or agree with ,but that is the way it is!

My Mate is boxing Craig Windsor tonight on the same bill and Morby may not be so bad he gave Jeffries something to think about.

I understand what your saying mate but from crag's point of veiw hes been stopped in his last two fifghts against class fighters so why would you want him in against someone tough straight afterwards?
Im not saying its the best opponent but craig just has to get on with it

Billy's right. If he can get out again soon after tonights fight it's not a problem. I wish Craig all the best. Paul Smith wouldn't be a bad opponent. Cross roads fight for both guys.

Confidence booster thats what he needs. He needs to start believing in himself again, he was ahead against Lee and lost. Then got dominated by Quillen. It's not surprise that he's not fighting someone decent.

Give him another "tune up" and then you'll see Craig win some kind of belt.

I get that psychological aspect of the two defeats but Craig's got the skills to easily take the European belt off Kerry Hope and that would give anyone a bundle of confidence.
