Not unexpectedly, Rudy no longer has the class to operate at this level (which at best, was euro-level anyway).

I personally hope that he hangs up the gloves.

Yes,both fighters where cut,and i think Marcussen won the first 3 rounds,Mcgee turned up the pace in round 4.And in round 5 landed a perfect punch to the liver that marcussen coulndt get up from...
Mcgee said to danish tv after the fight: the shot of my life!!!

Patrick Nielsen in contrast, disposed his opponent in around 10 seconds!

(sure - it was against a tomato can)

2 frauds fighting for a fraud title. Rudy never fought a top 100 guy to get this and Magee comes off a KO loss to Bute and in his last fight a guy that has never even fought at middleweight much less super middleweight... and people think Ward will have to fight this garbage??

Who are you calling/predicting Ward to fight against next?

Anthony Dirrell is the WBC mando, could be him. May/June. **** poor resume.

Kessler is fighting Stieglitz in April, expect his next fight after that to be late summer / fall. Not him.

Bute-Froch will probably be announced officially next week after the British aftermath with Chisora. Ward said no to Bute anyway.

Andre Dirrell? Don't think so. SHO has more progressive plans for him, me thinks.

Glen Johnson? Brian Magee as WBA mando?

I'm sure it'll be someone "more deserving than Bute". Sure sure.

Stop crying, can you blame either man for taking a chance to advance their careers, even if they didnt deserve it? You do nothing but ***** and moan about everything you dont agree with.

I dont rate Magee and have never been a fan of his, but credit where it is due. Magee has won the British, IBO, European and WBA int SMW titles.

    Magee has now beaten -
    world rated Markussen away,
    world rated Larsen away,
and Magee looked the winner against undefeated world rated Tsypko away who some felt looked unlucky against Lacy,
Some felt Magee had done enough against world rated R Reid,
Magee was only one point down on two cards against Froch before the end.

Magee has a better SMW resume The Ring mags numbers 5-10, better than Bika, Oousthuizen, Groves, Johnson, Dirrell or Abraham.
Magee would be considered a step up for Oousthuizen or Groves

    Thankyou Man09.
Im not trying to insult Iceman when I say that some people do not know fighters based outside of the bias Ring mag or their own country.
Ward vs Green wasnt a big fight but because Ward is a promising world champ from America fighting an American it gets built up.

As said Im no fan of Magee, but he has done more than many and travelled a fair bit also. Magee has been away for 8 of his last 9 fights, which is more than many established pros with titles.

Magee against Balzsay would be a good match up. Balzsay has a fair resume himself, better than many in the Ring top 10.
It would be a fair fight for the WBA regular title and then possibly the winner to fight Sartison
