It's the right decision.

McGregor probably never want to fight Diaz again. Diaz is incredibly tough and makes for a tough opponent for anyone. McGregor earned this win.

McGregor going back to 155. He probably won't go back to 145 ever again.

Split MD tells you right there the fight was close. I thought Diaz won by pulling out the 5th but I could see an argument for Mcgregor winning. Total barnburner of a fight, would love to see the trilogy.

 

Yeah if that happened 30 secs earlier he gets finished.

 

I scored it 4-1.. but wouldn't have argued with 3-2..

 

Very close but I think if you count shots landed McGregor would come out on top. He looked gased 3,4,5 but still picked him off. Diaz had like 2/3 bursts of combos and a take down not much else. Most shots were slipped.
