McGregor vs Diaz / Holm vs Tate RBR

It's been a pretty intense fight so far between Holm & Tate.

2-1 Holm, but man that was a scare in the 2nd round. She got completely dominated in the ground.

 

Round 4
Holm boxing smart from the outside and landing her strikes. Tate tries for a takedown but got stuffed. Holm starting to dominate the 2nd half of the round punches and a front kick to the neck. When the fight is standing up, Tate has no chance.

3-1 Holm.

 

Round 5

Tate is starting to get desperate. She's trying to get close, but she is getting countered. Tate with a kick to the body. Holm lands a 2 punch combination and kick to the body. Tate attempts another takedown, but Holm got away quickly. Holm is landing single shots. Tate clinches Holm and takes her to the wall of the case. Holm gets away again. Tate is getting aggressive, but Holm uses her footwork to spin away. Tate with the take down and is trying choke her out...and it's OVER. Tate chokes her out. What a fight.

 

Meisha Tate, new women's Bantamweight champion of the world. She was down and Holm was on her way to winning a decision. And then she pulls out a choke that ended Holm's short championship run.

 

Both guys are now in the octagon. McGregor looks good in the weight. Not a lot of body fat.
