    McGregors coach John Kavanagh confirmed on the Joe Rogan experience that McGregor got the better of Paulie in the infamous 12 round sparring session and footage will feature in an upcoming documentary on Netflix about the MayMac fight. He also states a boxing match with Paulie is "a possibility" and also lets slip on a potential Mayweather rematch.

    Doubt Connor could school many area level fighters in a boxing ring the dude couldn't even punch properly , just trying to re open another high revenue low risk revenue stream for a potential cash out after the MMA well dries out for him.

    Thought he was a bit more cagey than that tbh. He said Conor put him on his arse and took it to him but then Paulie came back and made it competitive. He said he thought Conor won the spar but then he also acknowledged his bias. He then said Dana and the Fertitta's thought Conor won but seemed to ignore their bias lol.

    My takeaway from what he said was that it was a hard and competitive spar that McGregor edged in his coach's opinion.

    Paulie is still mad so something must've happened. I'd like to see a real fight between them. if nothing else, Conor can still challenge/fight these retired or semi-retired fighters. Mayweather in MMA.

    The 'rumour' is the Mayweather rematch will allow both punches and kicks but nothing else MMA related.
