McGuigan has been part of alot of these TV programs ranking ATG fighters. I'd love to see his top 10 or 20. Christ only knows who he's displacing to put Calzaghe in the top 5.

You really must have a serious problem with reading comprehension. I said Shaun George would beat the version of Roy that Joe fought. I never said one ****ing word about Calzaghe/George.

Wanna be boxing fan? I started following boxing before you were born son, and stepped out of the ring for the last time while you were still spilling kool-aid on your diaper.

He does tend to get a bit caught up in the moment does Baz. On reflection, I'm sure he'll realise it was a silly statement to make.

I think he may have meant top 5 british fighter. Like saying "if he isn't number one he's certainly in everyone's top five."

Yeah, you're probably right. He's getting slaughtered for the remark but he's a helluva decent guy.

I strongly dislike Calzaghe, but I have to agree that Joe would have schooled Pavlik. They are not in the same leauge.

Fitz is a shoe in if he's considered British. Conteh and Turpin are difficult to argue over Calzaghe I think. I love Conteh but he doesnt make my British top ten

Barry McGuigan was inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame with 3 title defences.

So he is very familiar with people getting credit they don't deserve.

He must be applying the same warped standards to his own "book".

    Idiot.

Lewis got knocked out twice (and avenged both loses) because he consistenly fought better opposition throughout his career.

If Lewis had fought the HW versions of Rick Thornberry and Tocker Pudwill for the chunk of his career, I'm sure Lewis would have a '0' also.

Lewis has a better resume by far, and a better legacy.

    H2H talent is closer.
