McGuigan is doing exactly what a manager should be doing.
Tris Dixon, as an editor, is rightly defending the reporting and coverage in his magazine.
Can't knock either of them. :good

Barry McGuigan is a little annoying at times with his over excitement in the studio and interrupting other analysts a lot, I still like him though he's genuine and he loves the game.

I like watching Frampton fight, he seems pretty down to earth and he certainly will fight anyone, looking forward to the Kiko fight.

Nice observation.Since Barry retired, for me hes never shouted the odds about his own brilliant career, but hes now banging the drum for his charge, which as Unforgiven points out,is his job.My own opinion is that Quigg has jumped slightly ahead of Frampton,as Munroe had showed no sign of deterioration before.Still a 50 50 fight though.
Bad habit of Barrys, interrupting, but this is nothing new and I put it down to over exuberance, still a great guy though.

He hardly "went mad". He's entitled to his view and, if he feels BN has under-reported Frampton, he can say so. If Tris disagrees, he can say so. No blood, no foul.

Why he's tweeting them having a go and starting an argument over it? If he thinks they're under-reporting Frampton then he can get on with it like everyone else has to, I'm sure loads of boxers and their managers wish they'd get more coverage. Barry's whole attitude about it though just really annoys me, he thinks Frampton has a God-given right to be worshipped by everyone.

Fair play to both. Made their points and stood their ground. Just looking out for their respective interests no harm in that. I like Barry not enough passion from people sometimes

I didn't see it as "having a go". Barry gave his opinion, Tris gave his, they agreed to disagree. It's hardly a hissy fit. Some people just like to make a drama out of things.

Tris Dixon has been an absolute godsend for Boxing News and the guy even took a call from me a couple years back and had a ten minute discussion with me about Carl Froch being ignored by the networks.
    And let's be honest,Barry's only having a bit of a whinge,not a hissy fit.
