Didn't Armstrong have a heart condition that meant whilst he would have to start warming up a few hours before the fight, once he got going he could maintain a high workrate as long as he needed to?

He isn't, that 2% is just plain wrong, just like when Khan tried to say he was 1%. Bodybuilders on the day of a contest are at best 4%. At 2% you could barely function!

    So what?

That doesn't change the fact that he was exhausted in each of them.

    Pipe down *****

Bodybuilders on suicide ammounts of HGH and deuretics...

    Barry talking **** like usual.

Modern nutrition and training is a myth.

Progressive resistance training has been known since before the turn of the century.

The science drugs behind weight cutting/bulking has advanced thats it.

Watching Frazier and Ali kill each other for 15 rounds and comparing them to Haye or Wlad's stamina tells a story, that story being that stamina is individual.

Yep, that 4% won't be achieveable naturaly, your looking at Clen, T3/4, potentialy DNP!

Trainers/promoters come out with this sort of thing because it sounds impressive to the majority of the population who don't know any better, at the end of the day it's meaningless in relation to boxing anyway.

so exhausted that he was able to stop or severally hurt his opponent in the final rounds of each contest. that makes sense doesn't it??

people show fatigue differently. the fact haye is still punching with full force in the later rounds of fights show you don't no what the **** your talking about.

    what a *****.

Probably, but not all fighters are that bad, some stand out.

Jesus..... you really are thick as pig****.

All I said was that Haye was exhausted in each of those fights. That is all.

I never said he wasn't punching hard or didn't hurt his opponent. Learn to read.

As for being a *****, you've only got to read some of the shite you've posted in debates with David and also Flea to prove that's the case.

As for my perceived lack of knowledge, I'm not the one that continually posts conjecture across the forum an proclaim it as the truth, and I actually contribute to boxing related discussion.... rather than slating people just because they disagree with you.

If you didn't realise that my statement about leaving was in jest that just proves all the points that I've just made.

My advice to you would be to touch up on your knowledge over on the General or to just log out. I don't care which.

    :hi:

Haye has clear stamina issues, hence his conservative style at heavyweight.

It's not even debatable, it's clear as day.

I still think boxing lags behind other sports but it is getting better. As Arnie said there is no way any boxer has entered a ring at 2% body fat- if he did he would likely die in the ring.

Long slow distance runs also have their place and get a bad reputation. I am about to go out and do a 1 hour steady state run keeping my heart rate between 130-150bpm in order to maintain aerobic abilities I have worked on earlier in the year. This will keep the chambers in the heart (specifically the left ventricle )of the heart wide and thuis my heart will be able to deliver a greater volume of oxygen to my body during exercise.

I don't think its 2% going into the ring, he can be 2% leading up to fights.
