Putting your life at risk woldn't be ideal prep for a fight in my opinion.

BB your clearly knowledgable but you let petty agendas get in the way of when its come to many fighters including Haye.

Tell me when I have ever proclaimed to be paticuarly knowledgable?

    And whats a *****?

I post things im told. I never claim it to be fact. Whats wrong with that?

I read an interview with Frampton on another website and even he states he can be 2% in the build up to a fight and does admit you have to be careful coming down that low.

Yeah i do and you don't, simple as.

Bodybuilders run suicide drug regimes to get to around 4% bodyfat, i suppose they are just sadomasochistic.

You would be so ridiculously weak at 2% a light breeze would knock you over.

Noobs to training always think they are lower bodyweight than they are, it's amusing. In this case it's a good soundbite.

Nothing to ask, he is too missinformed to even know what bodyfat he is, you can point him to this thread though and he can read through the posts.

Read up on bodyfat levels and why it would be a very bad idea to drop that low, life threatening. It is extremely unhealthy.

Besides a natural wouldn't even get near 4% to begin with.

well in regards to the 2% body fat my mate who is a personal trainer was telling me there are 2 different measures of % body fat. Im very sketchy on details but he seemed to call one of them "athletic"...i will ask him and report back

basically, one of them gives a lower reading %wise, so one may read 12% and the other 7%, measured at the same time, on the same person. Maybe this is what Carl is referring to...?
Frampton does post here I believe, he should get in here and explain what the crack is

Are these medical sources? because tbh mate it's basically impossible, just google imaged Frampton and he doesn't look like he's below 8% in any of the weigh in pics, which is no mean feat, but no way is he 2% no matter what he or McGuigan say. It wouldn't be condusive to walking around and functioning normaly, let alone stepping in the ring the next day.

Stopped reading at 2% bodyfat, what a joke. No boxer has had that bodyfat level, even competing body builders who are extremely shredded with striated muscle don't get down to that percentage. Some level of % is needed to protect vital organs, and for the body to function.

Put it this way say a top bodybuilder is in a comp and he's say 4% body fat he even finds it hard to tense his muscles on stage he feels that weak! Imagine fighting!
