Geale hooks and uppercuts on the inside and then backs away while Sylvester is still shelled up. Geale is not landing much clean but is still finding the body. Sylvester walks forward, very inactive but does occasionally let his hands go to land a nice 1-2 to the body. Geale flurries and has to hold. Sylvester lands the jab and right hand well. Geale flurries ineffectively. Sylvester ducks a left hook and waits right in front of Geale. Sylvester waits to let Geale get to the end of a flurry before opening up, but is rewarding himself with accuracy.

 

I hope Fields goes through, only because when he's announced it sounds like "Pig Sty" Ty Fields.

Quality fight. Geale should win it but he'll be robbed.

 

Beauty of an uppercut to the body by Fields sends Airich down and he doesn't make the count.

87-84 Geale, this is going to be tough for Geale to get the decision. All the workrate is from Geale but Sylvester is finding some success.

 

Round 8

Geale is getting hit only with grazing jabs now as he keeps circling Sylvester and pot shotting him with his own quick jabs and flurries filled with uppercuts. Sylvester is landing his jab well, but only a couple now and then. Geale is still hopping around. Geale flurries, rolls his right arm, showboating.

 

Was just about to post that. Glad it's not just me!

 

Round 9

Geale throws jabs and uppercuts,and still takes the counter jab of Sylvester. Sylvester lands a good left hook on the inside. Geale is still hopping around on his toes and flurrying hard. Sylvester gets his 1-2 going and catches Geale with it, the crowd cheer. Geale is still getting off many more flurries than Sylvester is managing jabs and rights. Geale is finding ways to get enough of his jabs to land, together with his body shots, to secure the round.

 

20 stone and 16 stone...im not a mathematician but thats about 48 stone barry mcguigan atsch

 

107-102 to Geale, good 11th for him. Sylvester needs a KO now I reckon but we all know in Germany that it's probably a lot different.

Just hope for a fair card.
