panama al brown was a bantam and fought at feather

edit: of course he was 6ft or very shy of it....you try to tell a 5'4 bantam that your opponant might be 5'11 or 6'0 like it would matter.

Tony Pep the Canadian was a 6 foot plus featherweight. He lost to Mayweather and Hatton at 140.

    A 6 foot featherweight?

Me (if I was a boxer) about 2 years ago. Could probably make the weight now if given a few months notice. True story.

How about Kris Hughes (the guy who fought Frampton the other week) he was nigh on 6' and fighting at 122.

:bart His punditry is as weak as his chin. But, he's not really a professional pundit so shouldn't be able to voice any of his opinions anyway.

Be fair Smith seems to think 11 fights is the time to start fighting 8 rounders (he didn't fight his first until his 16th fight, when he faced the 6-15-3 Conroy McIntosh)...he also thinks this is a "good fight" (I can't remember his description but he seemed to try and make out it was a good stepping stone fight)...with an 11-0, 4 guy fighting a 3-3, 2 guy...

Some fighters should turn down interviews.
