Would've figured. You could probably define any fight with Don King involved in it as "Organized Chaos." I'm talking about Julian Jackson apparently speaking to him months before and having McClellan tell him he was suffering from headaches during training. Stuff like that is just hard to excuse for boxing.
Great fighter who never had the chance to fulfil his potential. One of THE hardest boxers of the last 20 years , nasty ****er really but who are we to judge. That fight remains my favorite both for the emotions i felt watchin it live and for sheer entertainment , with the obvious sick and tragic twist at the end. Two great warriors. That vid is years old by the way. G-Mancame over to London for a benefit Benn organised but apparently it was all too much for him and he had to be taken to his room. Very sad.
They have a right to their opinion. "Getting over it" isn't something you do in a sensitive subject when it comes to killing anything. McClellan may have been a bad person but I doubt his family deserves that burden. I can feel empathy for him and his family regardless of whether he was a dick or not. I don't have to blow off his bad deeds to be a compassionate human being.
here it is. Maybe put earphones on then you will hear it better. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNjoM63rJ3I&feature=related[/ame]
opinion is one thing. i'm the one who has a comment filter on that video and comments like... "hope he enjoys shitting in his diapers!" "**** that drooling dog abuser, karma's a *****!!" "that ******* used to fight dogs i hope he likes being a blind vegetable! ...appear every day. So you tell me if these people are just expressing opinions or being over extreme, fake fanatical dog activists who just want to have a reason to bash someone in an obviously vulnerable position?
First and foremost, you're reading youtube comments. The only sarcastic equivalent I can think of when it comes to youtube comments would be buying a Lindsay Lohan CD. People who do it are insane. Do you read scribbles on the bathroom wall at your local workplace for intellectual discussion? 97% of Youtube comments are 12 year old kids burning time before "My Super Sweet 16" starts or 50 year old dudes who wear tinfoil hats waiting for the government to steal their cars. Now that we're yes, they're still voicing their opinions regardless of how silly it is. If people want to say he should burn in hell, they're welcome to. They only expose their ignorance by saying it but they're within their rights to say it. The majority of the intelligent people here know the score with McClellan. Maybe I'm wrong for speaking for all of us when I can only really speak for myself. All I can say is that if he killed dogs, he was a ****ing scumbag. I can say that as my opinion, he's a scumbag if he killed dogs....but he didn't deserve what he got. Nobody deserves that regardless of how big of a ***** they are. Furthermore, his family doesn't deserve to have the burden of having to deal with what's become of him on a consistent basis. That's a fair stance. It's the ability to show more than one emotion in an area that's a consistent shade of gray. It's how you deal with something without a true right answer.
Fam I know Youtube comments are a sespool and anti-christ of all things reasonable and diplomatic (hence my video filters and never ever arguing with any moron on there) - but my point is that many people who opposed his dog fighting are essentially trying to say the same thing albeit in less ignorant and belligerent diction.
Believe me I'm aware of how silly youtube comments are. There is obviously a double standard with most people who argue it. I'm just saying the people who throw the first punch (specifically the McClellen sympathizers) are as annoying as the PETA groupies who take some sick semblance of pride in what's happened to him. I'm asking for both sides to have a semblance of tact in the matter and think before they post.
Did I say it was? More like the people on where who go "Who cares what he did to a dog! **** a dog!" are as annoying as the people who are saying "I'm so happy he's like that! **** him!" The comment that started all this was a bait to get those idiots riled up..and rather than it boil down into that, I'd rather we focused on the issue here.
whos saying **** a dog? trust me i dont have to make a comment to rile them up. you judge a human by how they treat humans, not how they treat animals, i once knew a ***** that said no lie her exact words "i believe god judges you based on how you treat animals" and i swear i saw that exact quote here on east side. so yea **** it iam firing the first shot this time. g-man
My view is if i am on a boxing website i prefer to talk about boxing. If i wanted to talk about animal rights issues i'd go on an animal rights site. Top boxer, whatever he did in his spare time.
