I never bought into the Peter hype, and was picking Maskaev to beat him since the start. Beating Jeremy Williams and fat, once great middleweight are not preparation to be heavyweight champion, and he never really did prove anything. The Peter-Mcline is exactly Wladdy-Peter in reverse. Those who thought that the first fight showed that Wladdy is tough and determined owe Peter the same respect. Peter should go back to the drawing board, and like Valuev attempted, take some tough tune up fights. If serious about his career, he should get his weight way down- enough of this idea that a six foot man should way 250 pounds. He should throw more, and more varied punches, and work on footwork and head movement.
