Please stop talking so much sense  Don't you know you can splash 40k or so easy on these domestic cards!

sounds good to me. I don't have an interest in either camp.

But Jnr turned down the fight. 3k, 10k, whatever. He didn't want to fight. You think he wants a winner take all contract???

If he was that confidant, he'd beat Taylors ass for 3k and be done with it.

Maybe the credit crunch is now hitting boxing as well :hey

They did say the Calzaghe v Jones PPV's numbers were disappointing.

Perhaps taking a closer look at things Jnr shld split the difference and ask for $6500 to fight a washed up Taylor. :yep

Yeah Jrn didnt mention the 10k figure. He just said he didnt agree to 3k. As a solid up and comer who currently holds a national title i dont blame him..

3k for a big domestic fight is pathetic..

Are Australian Champs being paid much more than 3/4 k? I wouldn't think so .

It actually came from Taylors camp. Maybe it is bs.

With all due respect, it's ok to say he didn't want to take short change to fight Shannon, but what happened after he was offered 3k? did he just walk away or did he ask for more?

Jnr had no problem coming here and revealing how much he was offered. That's fair enough. I just have a hard time thinking that negotiations ended when he knocked back 3 grand.

Again, Jnr can set it straight. Is he still around? lol

Whats so hard about negotiations ending due to purse dispute??

Jrn can earn more then what Taylor's team is offering.Plain and Simple.

This aint no tickling contest.3k to u and i seems like decent cash but we aint the one with the Oz title who is trying to make a living in the fight game..

One would think that potential earnings would be greater with a world ranking though, right?
