Thanks, good tips. Also I appreciate all the tips, I am still a novice I know I am not the best fighter in the world, but I can improve to be a pretty good amateur/pro. Its hard having no coach since I been out on deployment, all i have is youtube.
Good tips man. At first i didn't like you much, but you turned out to be a not so bad guy, who has a lot to offer to these forums. Like I said I just want to improve to be a better fighter, and it is kind of hard not having a coach critique me, and rip me apart, and bring me back up out here. All I have is myself, youtube, my videos of me, and about 300 fights on my computer until I am out of this country.
its cool man I was too i guess. Deployed to Afghanistan, can't really talk about where I am there, but you get the picture.
Yeah I'm just back from Afghanistan, I'm British Army but I was deployed with US marines, some good boxers there, we're doing an inter-unit tournament with em Anyway stay safe, keep up the boxing (Remember to move your head)
I am stationed with a few Brits, and Aussies pretty cool guys. Thing that sucks is everyone is into MMA where I am at, and while they are good grapplers the striking is terrible. I added a second video from yesterday if you want to critique that too.
Punches are nice crisp and straight. Not sure if you have sparred and know your speed, distance, and range, but your hands seem really low if you are a come forward guy. Some guys are just doing cardio. Some guys are fast enough to evade and capitalize. Some guys? They just don't know to keep their hands up. I don't know which you are, but a guy with a strong jab and fighting off of the back foot would smash that grape. Judging from your speed and movement you will b tracking guys down. I would up the punch count per round. You will need the volume as a guy will most likely engage you by backing away and picking you apart. You look good on that bag though man.
Appreciate it. I have a bad habit of keeping them low in sparring, and my two fights I have. I been working on keeping them up. Going to whip myself into shape the next two months keeping my hands up. thanks for the tips bro.
hell yea. problem is my sparring partners aren't experienced, and they miss me very often, so I am not able to correct my deficiency right now.
I dont like this guy he is too cocky, I wouldnt be saying this if you werent cocky, but you prob fought bums. You got not head movement and not using you legs much, plus your leaning forward too much
Nevermind I only read your posts from your first page, now I read the third amd your not soo bad. I guess u were just on your man period haha jk. But most impkrtant tip, when people are giving you advice, listen to them and dont get defensive(i kno wat that feels like), that is how you become a better boxer. Keep training bruh!
How so, brown bomber? My coach is a pro, who just tools the beginners. But he works on a lot of technique. So what do you do with beginners? Whats good about the sparring?
