Ivyleague used to be called Finito, and he once claimed that he preferred another forum over ESB because it was "more prestigious" and he was "honoured by their invitation to contribute his knowledge to their dialogue."

    Ya can't make this **** up:patsch

Sometimes this does happen, but sometimes people are just shitty at their job and when the most critical moment comes they aren't able to deliver. They then offer excuses for why, and the best excuse makers tend to get other opportunities, in which they do the exact same things they did previously. Allan Green made these same excuses after the Miranda fight, now he gets his ass handed to him by Ward, and I would bet the same happens next. Bottom line dude is overrated and he freezes up in big fights, period.

Well I was actually part of that forum and it was a great forum but now it essentially defunct. But while it lasted there were great threads and debates without any trolling.

He had a legitimate excuse as to why he lost to Miranda. He wasnt at his best but he had no other choice but to take the fight because it was too good of an opportunity to pass by..

If the same thing happens against Kessler, it would be hard to defend him, even for me, but if he wins, i bet there's going to be a bunch of people getting on his bandwagon.

I was a fan of Green's until the end of the Ward fight. I defended him when he lost to Miranda but after the Ward fight I was done. Al Bernstein hit the nail on the head when he said (paraphrasing) "Allen Green has always been an underachiever". Antonio Tarver called it early on in the fight when he said that Green was going to use his weight as an excuse.

A lot of people give Ward tons of credit for fighting an excellent fight and while he may have, Green handed him the win on a silver platter! I've seen many professional fighters perform well and even win while being over-trained or tired so I don't feel as though Green has a valid excuse for his abysmal performance.

It's a shame, Green is an entertaining guy when he talks and when he shows up for fights but I'm no longer supporting him. I'm looking forward to the next Fight Camp 360 to hear what Green has to say.

He's got a great chance against Kessler.

Green has never really looked like a top smw to me. He's a contender at best, although he does have enough power to drop just about anybody in the division.

Do you know what overtrain means? If an athlete (in any sport) train in a serious way with professional people they dont overtrain. Everything is thought 4 years previous (for olympic athlete).

For sure overtraining athlete exist, but I assure you, theirs way to see it coming. I dont see it happening except if his trainers are incompetents.

Every prospect/contender somewhat padds their record until they got a title shot.. Green is a bondafide contender and he's been fighting decent opposition.

Green came in as the underdog against a hot prospect in Codrington and he destroyed. And now he fought ward..
    ?
Bute is a so called champion yet who has he fought? no one..
