According to another site, undefeated "Mean" Joe Greene will face Argentina's Sergio Martinez on Jan. 17th!

They will be fighting for the WBC jr. middleweight interim belt.

    Your thoughts?:bbb

I personally think Green is still green. Should be a true test for Greene against the talented up-and-rising star, Sergio Martinez.

Greene has talent but I think he will lose this one.

I never seen Green but Martinez is for sure beatable.
Dont get fooled by the HBO commentators praising him in his last fight,
they was just trying to sell him and help out good ol' friend Loudibella

Martinez looked like a champ against Bunema. I know he has losses, but that guy has serious skills and would be hyper competitive with anyone at 154.

I have heard good things about Greene, but this is a big step up for him, and Martinez is a very experienced fighter. Im surprised his handlers are taking such a big risk. This kid is supposed to be very highly regarded prospect.

I never saw much in Greene as a prospect. Lacks a bit of pop, lacks anything exceptional in most departments.

Tough learning curve for the kid here.

I don't think Greene even has the talent. DiBella has tried hyping him up, and the fact that he's feeding him to another prospect this early in his career indicates that he's figured out that he just doesn't have the talent to become a star.

great fight. Winner of that is clearly cream of the crop in the 154lbs.
