Wow. Another kid being sold to the wolves in the outside chance he can be a star and skip all the hard work of clawing up the ranks.

I haven't seen Greene. But unless he is absolutely stellar everytime out what the hell is the rush? Martinez is far from an easy opponent.

Why not take your time and get better?

There are some good matches to be made at 154. Angulo needs another fight or two before stepping up for belt. Preferrably two, maybe even three.

you gotta test your prospect before you invest in your prospect.

its about time we went back too da old days were only the best reached the top because they were forced to fight there nearest challengers.
wats the point of investing money into something if you dont know wat type of product you got?

for me its the right way to do it

Bad style match up for Greene than take his inexperience and he looks to be a big underdog here. Its nice to see a youngster take a chance but this is probably too big of a step right now. Martinez by comfortable decision.

No Greene is a good prospect, the only time he didn't look good was his last fight. He has good hand speed and has decent pop but I think Martinez is just too much for him. But honestly nobody thought much of Timothy Bradley and he looks like the fighter to beat at 140.

I've seen Green fight three times, and I'm not sure if he's ready for this jump in class, either, but he is a very good fighter and I applaud him for taking the risk. He is very good at everything he does. I hope he pulls it off.

I have not seen a lot of Martinez, but I would be very surprised if anyone actually picked Green apart.
