Joe Greene will beat up Raines, and will once again expose the incompetence of Stacy Goodson.

    That's my thinking.

I just watched this video of him, and I was thoroughly underwhelmed.

I have seen enough of Joe Greene to be extremely confident in the fact he should thoroughly outclass this guy.

I wouldn't go that far. He has a chance because he's been active, Greene hasn't. Could be some serious ringrust for him. Also, Greene could be underestimating Raines.

These factors raise it from no chance to some chance. But it is still a slim chance. It would be a huge upset if Raines won.

Green has shown some flaws, but hes an exciting fighter who showed some real toughness in his bout with Torres. I think he's got potential.

That illness he had might have been a blessing in disguise because he was not ready to fight Martinez. I don't know why Greene's handlers were pushing that matchup.

Greene last fought ten months ago, and had prepared for at least one fight in the interim that fell through.

Again I ask, what have you seen of Raines?

From what little I saw, I'm not even sure he belongs in the same ring as Greene.

Incidentally, anyone know anything about the three mysterious no contests on Raines' ledger against one, ****** Flanagan?

That is my thinking as well.

I wish someone who is picking him would actually try explaining the thought process at work.

You are much higher on Greene than I am. Raines belongs in the ring, and will likely go the distance, win or lose. There is no question that he is the underdog, and no question that Greene is the more skilled fighter. But the guy with the best ability doesn't always win. That said, I think he will in this case. But Raines will be competitive, I think.
