I think Wilder and GGG are the meanest fighters in boxing. I think they both have absolute belief in their ability to destroy their opponents. They think nothing of it and respond like Gs when they put hurt on their opponents.

They also share the same ability to become vulnerable when they have the capability and the skills to be more defensively sound. GGG's fight against Brook was one of GGG's worst defensive performances, while his fight with Lemieux was 100% on point. Wilder also performed poorly against Molina, but shined in his one sided domination of Stiverne who was very dangerous at the time.

I know their is discontent for both fighters, but if you could the emotions to the side for a moment, it's hard to disagree with this assessment based on at least popular fighters.

Artur Beterbiev appears emotionless, but you can see the meaness in him .

Crawford has a mean side to him as well (I enjoy it) dont let his silent personality fool you.

Haven't seen enough of Beterbiev, but I agree with you about Crawford. What ever happened to Beterbiev?

Of course, but I wish he would retire to be with his family and hopefully live a full life.

If Wilder had that belief he wouldn't have such an issue with facing good competition.

Kovalev, GGG, Gassiev, Joshua... Even the Pimp has a bit of a mean streak I must admit.

    James Kirkland, and Tank Davis.

Wilder shows concern for his opponents.
Golovkin has that soldier mentality where your destruction is just a job.
Kovalev has literally tried to kill someone (and admitted to doing so) AFTER he has already killed a man in the ring.
