Media score cards for Bivol/Beterbiev...... OVERWHELMINGLY for Bivol

It says twice that many saw bivol win, and half that many saw beterbiev win.

 

It´s rare to see so many have a high profile fight as a draw. Just shows how close of a fight it was and it could have easily gone to Bivol.

All the judges were working with Hearns fighters before.

 

It was a very close high quality fight. Could have gone either way or been an draw. Hopefully there will be a rematch. For now time to let it go.

3 extra rounds would have been terrible for Bivol lmao.

 

What this tells me is Bivol had a case to win more rounds. All but 4 or 5 of the Bivol people admit Beterbiev had 5 and a substantial minority gave him 6 or 7. That is not a robbery. Especially when the judges had Beterbiev sweeping the last 3 rounds. 116-112 aside a judge scored Bivol needed just 1 of the last 3 rounds from either of the two closer scorecards to win. Fights like this I see the audience thinking an outcome is in the bag and calling it earlier then they should have.

 

I'm all for 15 rounders returning to championship boxing period.
