Judge Daniel Weinstein today issued an order to correct the false record that has been created by the recent statements from Top Rank and Manny Pacquiao's representatives concerning what occurred at the mediation. The full text of the Judge's statement is as follows:

Mediator's Corrective Order Re: Mayweather-Pacquiao Mediation

The Mediator finds: 1. Various articles have appeared in the press purporting to characterize the substance and outcome of the Mayweather-Pacquiao mediation and the negotiations between the parties. Many of the reports are incorrect..

    2. The mediation was a confidential proceeding. Any comments to the press or public by participants in the mediation purporting to report the substance or details of the mediation are violations of the strict confidentiality to which the parties and their representatives agreed and which they authorized the Mediator to enforce.

    3. The parties and their representatives authorized that, if misinformation was disclosed to the press by either side, the Mediator would correct any erroneous information.

The Mediator corrects the erroneous reports to the press as follows:

    a. Both parties participated in the mediation in good faith. Both parties participated in many hours of negotiation, with a number of proposals issued by each side and carefully considered by the parties and their representatives.

    b. The Mediator himself did not formulate, recommend or issue a Mediator's Proposal. The Mediator did not make an evaluation or finding that any one of the many proposals considered by the parties was the correct protocol.

    c. Any attempt to characterize the mediation process as an acceptance or rejection by any of the parties of a mediator's or an arbiter's proposal or of any specific proposal is false.

    d. In the end, the parties could not agree on a testing protocol acceptable to all.

Not really. You and many others have spent your whole day on here bashing Floyd for ducking due to the press releases from Arum and Pacquiao indicating that Mayweather did not accept the deal agreed to by both parties.

That story is false as per the mediator and Arum, Pacquiao etc have violated the terms of the confidentiality agreement.

Slimey pieces of **** (arum and pac). Surprise, surprise.

Dude, of course this report is written like it is. Look at the bottom line.

Sorry Arum is an 80 year old dude who doesn't give a **** about talking, and the Mayweather camp refuses to issue any statement.

Arum has been giving us the news on this fight from day one. How hard is it to believe that he would tell the truth in the meeting?
He didn't think ellerbe and Schaefer would come out and dispute it?!?

Have any of you ever had to write an official statement?
This is obviously written to protect the guys from looking bad.
His job is to get the fight signed, not pick a side.

thats what i thought from jump Arum was even the one who said he couldnt speak after the first meeting saying it was a gag order on the damn mediation then he rushes to tell THEIR side as to why the fight might not happen...maybe he was trying to pressure Floyd by making it seem even more like he did not want to fight.

We need specifics. This is bullsh*t.

Sounds like more "cover your rear end" garbage from Team PBF because they're getting crushed on the fallout from Floyd's not agreeing to the fight.

Best guess: Team PBF called the mediator and got them to issue this based upon some minor media misrepresentation and/or the mediation info no longer being "confidential."

That is, PBF still doesn't want the Pac fight and he doesn't want to get crushed for his culpability in what happened to kill that fight nor jeered when he decides to fight Magic Hatton.

This article wouldn't exist if Floyd would defend his actions. Instead we have matthew hatton the radio saying he is going to fight Mayweather.
