Hey all , im in oz at the moment so i cant get one yet but thinking of buying one when i get back home in the uk. Basically what different exercises can you do on your own with a medicine ball ( i know the basics ) + i usually work out on my own so wont be able to use one then. And before you say join a gym lol i already did before i left and am obv gunna go back as soon as i get back lol.:good Cheers
theres quite a few that you can do on your own, theres situps where you lie down and extend the ball behind you and do the exercise, you can put the ball in between you feet lie with your lower back touching the floor and your hands by your sides and do leg lifts which can be an absolute killer, you can also stand by a wall and push the medicin ball as hard as u can into the wall and then mix it up and slam the medicine ball into the floor as hard as possible you can also hit the obliques pretty decent by doing some russian twist, also lie in a crucifix position and place the ball in between your knees and lift them toward your chest then keep twisting from side to side only moving your legs nor only will this hit your obliques but it will help the muscular endurance in your legs as they are used as stabiliser muscles in this exercise, im sure there is more but thats all that i can remember of the top of my head :good
Sounds good , reckon itll be ace for the old abs. I know its cardio cardio to get definition but iv bin through that point if you know what i mean, eg im keeping my cardio up but iv got to the point where i have no fat on my belly hardly and getting quite a bit of definition , but i want to be ripped lol , well i want to be a better boxer but if i can look good along the way why not lol:smoke Any other suggestions boys and girls?
alot of people say 2 get abs do cardio cardio cardio, this works to a certain extent but it is rubbish if you want to get good ripped abs, youl end up just seeing bare bones and muscle, you need to hit the abs hard to make sure they stick out the good thing about it is usually if your at the stage your at now give it a few weeks and your abs can look awsum, its always to do something looking good :yep , not only will it make u feel stronger but it will give you a huge confidence boost. this website has also got some very good info on it check it out 2 see what you think - http://bodybuilding.com/fun/elitefts6.htm Keep it up the hard work man :good
Lol yeh im not into my looks really , but when your in australia , and the weather is boiling, and theres girls in skimpy clothing everywhere and the beach is where your spending your time you tend to do a few extra sit ups in the morning , cheers mate for the link too.
theres loads to do with medi balls search it on google you can also do impact excercises wer you have it pounded against your stomach
