Medicore Fighters vs. Tyson - A Challenge

Good pick, leapt to my mind too.

 

lol 1 dimensional limited fighters are not going to beat Tyson. Douglas is the most but if and when Douglas was motivated he did seem to have it all.

Maybe a Tua or Ibeauchi (neither mediocre) would be able to outbrawl Tyson, but the better boxer who lands most and lands first and has the best defense should be expected to win and thats Tyson.

McCall wouldnt beat Tyson, because Tyson isnt getting stopped by 1 shot and McCall is too limited to land in a real fight.

 

I'm actually starting to wonder if people know what "mediocre" means...

 

Its hard to think of a mediocre fighter thats going to beat Tyson on his best night.

Now if you pick the Tyson that faced Lennox Lewis. Or the shot Tyson that faced McBride, you can have some fun

 

Tyson kills purrity unlike Wlad Tyson has a good chin and peak Tyson would not tire himself out . Purrity's ace in the hole would not work against Tyson.

 

Tyson has the two fisted power, punching skills and finishing ability to knockout tua and mccall. theres no such thing as a great chin vs tyson

 

Tell that to Tucker, Green, Tillis and Ruddock.

No way Tyson knocks out McCall. No one knocks out the atomic bull. Besides, they already sparred endless rounds and guess who was floored?

 

Tua was close to impossible to hurt with a head shot. I think his body would vulernable against Tyson and that is what Iron Mike would concentrate on. Lennox Lewis hurt Tua to the body early on and took most of the fight out of Tua early. Tyson would be able to really slow Tua with bodyshots IMO. Then he could start working upstairs.
