WBA orders fight between Ruslan Chagaev and Kali Meehan since Meehan has been waiting 2 years for a WBA title shot ever since he KO DaVarryl Williamson. WBA get your shite together!:patsch:lol:

Meehan has waited a long time for this. Chugaev though he does not deserve this. And why and interim champ. Haye is fighting his mandatory on time. They hand out interims like Xmas gifts.

Too many titles , too many schmoes calling themselves "champion". If it was one champ per weight class, and the original 8, we'd be spared from "champs" like Sven Ottke , Shannon Briggs, and all the pudgy Russians.

Is Haye gonna have to fight the winner of this "bout" in addition to two other wastes of times (ruiz, valuev 2)???

Something like that. Winner between them gets mandatory shot to winner of WBA World title fight between Haye-Ruiz.

Complete BS. Haye should vacate for a Klit challenge. He has the leverage to negotiate the fight than drop that worthless strap. This is like the mediocre 5 HW tournament. If he sticks around to fight these three meaningless mandos, then we know that he really wanted out of those klitchko fights

They both have expressed interest in facing each other in the near future. Vitali said recently that his brother and him can negotiate with Haye after his fight with Johnson on December 12th. Haye said the same thing after Ruiz.

i got no prob w vit taking an optional w kj. i think that he chose one of the better "contenders" out there (though none are that proven) and it's probably best to stay fairly active at his age. i was worried about the delay that would occur if Haye chose to fight whoever the WBA lines up for him

    Same old same old shite.

Haye and company will be in no rush to risk their WBA joke belt.
Relax and enjoy the next couple of years:

    Haye vs Ruiz :tired
    Haye vs Valuev II :dead
Haye vs Chagaev or Mehann :barf

    Haye vs Holyfield :rofl

Hopkins, Toney, Adamek, Arreola... and on and on till Vitali is back on the shelf... Maybe then, take a chance with Wladdy.

Any truth to the rumour that the winner of Meehan-Chagaev will face the winner of the winner of Valuev-Holyfield 2 vs. the winner of Ruiz-Haye vs. the winner of Ruiz-Valuev 3 vs. the winner of Holyfield-Haye?
